Spincare is a close to 8-figure Amazon Seller & Ecom business operating in the UK & EU, providing high quality vinyl record collecting accessories.
Spincare received Hazmat notifications from Amazon on five lines that were PAN EU FBA. They uploaded the factory-issued Safety Data Sheets which were initially accepted, but Amazon then reclassified and downgraded them to Fulfilment By Merchant (FBM) or Multi Country Inventory (MCI) only.
Sales dropped overnight. Advertising and shipping costs went up. Their Ops Manager was tasked with managing an influx of multi-country shipments.
Soon after, things went from bad to worse - the products were suspended completely. No longer just FBM, but removed from sale entirely.
